A hilltop village of pale stone and ochre shutters, one of France's official Plus Beaux Villages. Many of our guests find they're happy to simply stay put — a café table in the square, a wander up through the old streets, the evening light settling over the valley is enough on its own.

Its neighbours are ‘perched’ villages just as beautiful — Fayence, Tourrettes, Callian, Montauroux & Mons — each a short drive away, with excellent restaurants of their own, and made for an afternoon out, a good lunch, or a long summer evening. A little further, the perfume town of Grasse and the glamour of Cannes, with the sandy beaches of the Côte d'Azur right alongside it. Further still, the Gorges du Verdon — Europe's "Grand Canyon”, with its turquoise river and towering cliffs — the old town of Nice, the port of Monaco, the coast toward Saint-Tropez.

For those who do venture out, Seillans makes it easy — mountains, market towns, the sea, and a very good dinner, all within reach.
